Review, Photo, and Description for Jewelry+Making+Set
I bought this toolkit off Amazon for my wife. She’s starting out in beading and asked me for advice on picking out tools. I have all sorts of hand tools and power tools, so naturally she asked me for my opinion. Another reviewer said this were a bit pricey for the quality, which worried me. I just got the shipment and examined them; at roughly $5 and change for each tool, not including the carrying case, it was well worth it. The pivot points in the tools are sturdy and not the riveted or screwed type (which can get loose with use). Testing each one a bit, they feel strong enough to get the job done. Mind you, these aren’t electrical cutters or shears.. they’re for bead work.. and at roughly $5 a piece to get started, well worth the investment. I did feel that the case shouldn’t be as “plush” or “cushy” and it might get dinged or scratched up with constant use. But overall, the case is zippered which helps contain the tools, which are themselves secured in straps. Would buy again.
Help answer the question about Jewelry Making Set
using copywrited images to make items for personal use?
I saw a transformers movie few days ago and I'm a newly made fan. I'm a jeweler by trade and I want to make a set of earrings and a pendant using images from the movie ( those images are also most likely copywrited by Hasbro). i do not plan on selling either of those pieces - I want them for Jewelry Making Set personal wear. however - i want to post photographs of finished jewelry on my portfolio website - as an illustration of my cababilities nothing more. In a way - what i want to do is similar to writing fan fiction, or making a fan drawing/sculpture, etc but i would litteraly be tracing exact images, before i trasfer them into metal (I want them to be recognizable)so - I want to make sure that I'm allowed to make the jewelry i have in mind. i know that not all writers/producers/etc allow for fan creations of any sort to be based on their work, but I could find anyway tocontact paramount pictures, or dreamworks, or Hasbro toys in order to verify it with them.so if anyone knows anything - help?
