Would you let your 13 year old daughter date a 15 year old?
okay here is the scenerio. I have a 13 year old daughter in gr 8. For the last 3 weeks she's been talking on the phone with a boy very often, sometimes for hours! We'll she asked me if she can go to the mall and see a movie with him and I told her I had to meet him first. Then last friday, Liela came home from school and brought him with her so I can meet him (his name is Joel) and the second he stepped in I thought he was 19 or 20 years old. He was ALOT more muscular than my husband (who happens to be a firefighter)and he already grew into manhood. I was expecting a little boy from her grade! Turned out that Joel is only in gr 10 and is 15. He was very good looking (similar to some big movie star) and was extremely mature, I talked with him for a couple minutes and right away I knew he was extremely mature and was a caring person. Only thing that seemed questionable to me was all the expensive jewelry he was wearing, the diamond and gold rings and the Ring Bases For Jewelry Making very heavy looking 14kt gold chain he was wearing (I work at a jewelry store on the main street of the city so I know that he was wearing thousands) so I just asked in a nice welcoming way (not rude) how he managed to get all that nice jewerly and apparently he has a interesting job in marketing which is all comission based, but obviously he excels at it and I've heard that people in the same business making 2grand a week from it. Joel was extremely interesting overall. He's even moving out on his own once he turns 16. He is already close to being 16.My daughter Liela was extremely happy for him being there and clingy towards him, they seemed to be extremely happy with eachother even though this was the first time of them being together in person, so I gave my approval to my daughter and let them both go out together for the night.My question being, Would you be totally okay with this situation if you had a 13 year old daughter? Would you have any questions or specific rules for them because of the age gap? They both met eachother on facebook.My daughter has never really HAD a real boyfriend before, and I do have a very strong feeling that he's going to be her first real boyfriend, I know they're going to be with eachother alot because of the winter holidays coming up. I was sort of curious why Joel wasn't with a 15 or 16 year old girl, but he told me he thought my daughter was the prettiest girl he's seen and they shared so many interests, so I was okay with it.And no, he didn't say in the exact words I described about my daughter, but basically the idea of he thought she had an amazing personality and was beautiful. I think thats a bit more accurate.He told me and explained about his job, he goes door to door convincing people to subscribe to a choice of newspapers and he gets 17 dollars every person that goes on trial for 2 months. He shared a little about what he says and he seemed to be excellent at it, He said most people aren't any good at it, but if you are good you are making 20+ sales in a 4 hour time frame.

How to learn jewelry making and design?
I have been very passionate about jewelry my entire life. As an adult, I have made dozens of beaded pieces and several wire wrapped pieces. I'm very interested in Jewelry Making Wire Wrap learning other techniques to take my jewelry making to the next level but I don't know where to start. Since I am a busy professional, I'm interested in taking weekend classes either group or private. I currently live in the Sonoma County in California. I would love any local leads or resources. I don't know where to start as to learning how to proceed with bench work, molds and other techniques.
